Niceville is a city in Okaloosa County, Florida. The city was originally known as Boggy when the mail service began in July of 1868. The city was originally a part of Walton County but became a part of the newly formed Okaloosa County in 1915. Today, Niceville covers an area of about 11 square miles and is home to over 15,000.
